Consulting and Testimony
We provide litigation consulting services and expert witness testimony. Retained on behalf of the plaintiff or defendant, we calculate the value of economic harm associated with various types of commercial and civil lawsuits. We testify in depositions, arbitrations and at trials and assist in mediations. We also assist in discovery planning, requests for production of documents and preparing counsel for depositions.
We apply our deep forensic accounting experience to help businesses and public agencies resolve financial and accounting concerns by conducting internal investigations and communicating our findings to the Board of an entity and those charged with governance. We skillfully reconstruct and decipher disputed business transactions based on available evidence, interpret their significance to the claims, and measure their impact on the financial condition of the entity.
(GAAP and GAAS)
Our sophisticated accounting expertise is backed by successful dispute resolution experience involving technical issues in accounting and financial reporting and questions about the quality of the audit of an entity's financial statements. We apply our practical knowledge and technical expertise in GAAP and GAAS when evaluating accountant malpractice claims. We possess significant professional credentials and complete extensive continuing education in accounting, financial forensics, and business valuation every year.
